ADHD Treatments, it’s a Puzzle?

Have you ever explored what and how to treat ADHD? It looks like a maze of endless options, have you gotten lost in that maze?

I’ve attached my friend and colleauges web site who specializes in coaching women. Did you know that woman are different than men? Neurospiciness is a newer term, that embraces the complexity of ADHD.

How or how can we choose the right treatment strategy for ourselves?  Have you considered: Affordability, cost. Time, money, personality, specific diagnosis and/or comorbities?

Here’s a short list of possible options:

Diet, exercise? Read and apply concepts from books? School IEP? Job training? Do we share with our family, coworkers? How do we develop new routines and habits?

CBT, DBT, EMDR 

Medication options ( requires medical, psychiatric licensed provider

Coaching How is coaching different than therapy? Coaching is now, forward thinking, many therapies look back and explore root causes?? Positive therapy to identify strengths?

Holistic options (meditation, Sound, lights  acupuncture, equine tx, sound, equine, what are your experiences?) 

Occupational therapy, Trauma therapy 

Quantum Touch, Therapeutic touch, Tai Chi, Chi Gong….. wow!! The goes on forever?
