Travel is a form of Magic

As an Ameteur Illussionist/Magician this trip reminds me that all the world is a stage. We must look at things through the lens of history, culture, current events and then we might find that what we perceived as truth was only an illussion.

We have been to Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan and Hong Kong and we are headed to Japan. People on the ship are all colors, sizes, shapes and multinational. Some of the conversations have been very enlightening. For instance I hear the news includes Prince Andrew being arrested?? Interestingly 50 % of the British and Australians think this is great and 50% think, leave the old fart alone……… both can’t be absolutely correct.

Hoping WWIII hasn’t broken out as I haven’t look at one bit of news…. We haven’t seen any mushroom clouds, so I guess all is well.

We over react at work, only to find we didn’t have the whole story. We think everyone thinks we are a flawed, disordered person with ADHD or some form of neurospiciness, only to find that most people aren’t pay that much attention to us. We hate this or that, only to find that we don’t know enough about hate, and Ain’t Love a better option?

One more day at sea, then Japan for 3 days, then flying back to USA…..

How can you imagine your life, work, family or any situation from a different point of view?

Blessings

We got home the other day, and now, after 3 days, I have the airplane crud again! Some lady on the way there was coughing, and we got it in Thailand pretty much the whole time, but not the worst flu we have had. But now feeling sick again. We had a guy directly behind us hacking. This time it’s a bit worse, but at least we are home! In 2019, Graham got influenza “A’ on the plane and gave it to his buddy Ross in Australia. They were not pleased. Starting to wonder if we should just stay home. The long flights and jet lag are getting to us! Getting old sucks but I am gonna keep moving!
