Are you overwhelmed with books, seminars and too much information? Looking for a one stop fits most people book? This oldie, but goody book from 2007, a part of the “for Dummies” series of books is a great self guided journey for all human beings. It is not specifically designed for people with ADHD, but aren’t we all human beings, with or without neurospiciness.
For me, it was one of the first books I read when exploring my own self growth.
One of my favorite passages is “The myth of will Power” pg 153-154. We are reminded in the book that will power is over rated. Developing new and different habits are the key to growth. Being compassionate with ourselves, and moving forward even when we fail is critical.
Every page is loaded with self guided exercises, information and it starts on the inner pages of the cover, a yellow page with Powerful Questions for Stages of your Life Coaching Journey” ( How am I when I am my Best self)” A succinct guide, bullet points for “Achieving Your Goals” and A chart for “Taking Stock of Your Current and Ideal Life”.
I highly recommend this as a tool for any one interested moving forward with life.
Blessings
